Privacy Policy

Overview

Glow Flow is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device.

Location Data

Glow Flow requests your location solely to fetch your local UV index and elevation from Apple's WeatherKit service. Your location is sent directly from your device to Apple — we never see, store, or have access to it. Location data is not retained after the weather request completes.

Health Data

When you finish a tanning session, Glow Flow can save an estimated Vitamin D value to Apple Health. This requires your explicit permission via the HealthKit authorization prompt. Health data is written directly to Apple Health on your device. We have no access to your Health data.

Data Storage

Tanning session state (start time, UV level, and duration) is stored locally on your device using standard app storage so your session persists if you close the app. This data never leaves your device.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to premium features, payment is processed entirely by Apple via your Apple ID. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment details. Subscription status is validated on-device through Apple's StoreKit; we do not collect subscription or purchase history.

Analytics & Tracking

Glow Flow does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking of any kind. We have no servers and collect zero data.

Third-Party Services

The only external service used is Apple's WeatherKit, which provides UV index and weather data. This communication happens directly between your device and Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Glow Flow does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require an account and stores no personal data.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page with an updated date. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
